Soon Huat Bak Kut Teh 新山顺发肉骨茶: Hidden Gem in Johor Bahru(JB)

After reaching JB, the first thing to to fill the hungry tummy with food at Soon Huat Bak Kut Teh where you can customize your ingredients and order other sides dishes such as beancurd skin, preserved vegetable and pork trotter as well.

They taste very different from Singapore Bak Kut Teh(BKT) as the broth was taste with the pork meat goodness and other ingredient such as crispy beancurd skin and Enoki Mushroom loaded in it which made the broth extremely rich in flavours. The Bak Kut Teh were prepared using charcoal fire which made it even more flavorful and nice.

Be sure also to order the Braised pork trotter as it had a tender texture was just nice for me. I would usually drizzle the sauce my rice and eat it together with the pork trotter and BKT.
